Ernest began his practice and joined Chambers in 2018 following completion of pupillage with Ms Po Wing Kay, Mr Laurence Li (now Laurence Li SC), Mr Law Man Chung (now Mr Law Man Chung SC) and Mr Edwin Choy (now Edwin Choy SC). He had conducted trial, both civil and criminal, and appeared in administrative appeal all as sole advocate in his first year of practice.
Ernest is actively developing a broad practice and accepts instructions in all areas of work. His work extends across a wide range of areas including land, trust, restitution, conflict of laws, commercial, companies, banking, insolvency, bankruptcy, securities, competition, professional negligence, and commercial fraud at all levels of court. He also has experience in arbitration, mediation and public law matters.
Ernest is capable of preparing submissions and conducting hearings in both English and Chinese. He speaks English, Punti and Mandarin.
