 Selected Cases

  • Ng Kin Yuen, Administrator of the estate of Lam Tim Stan also known as Lam Tim alias Stan Lam Tim, deceased v. Lam Sik Ying Victor and Others [2022] HKCFI 1164 (as sole advocate): successfully obtained, for an on behalf of the 4th defendant, an order for interim distribution, pending completion of the administration of the deceased’s estate.

  • Yung Yuk Yin v The Incorporated Owners of Keymount Lodge [2021] HKDC 813 (as sole advocate): successfully obtained damages and injunctive reliefs against the defendant for water seepage after an 8 day trial. The Court also found in favour of the plaintiff’s case that the defendant was bound by the 1st owners’ resolution and its management committee’s resolution, notwithstanding the defendant’s argument that they were superseded by a 2nd owners’ resolution.

  • Baiyu Property (Overseas) Holding Limited v Million Universe Limited [2020] HKLdT 31 (as sole advocate): successfully recovered possession, rent/mesne profits after trial.

  • Tse’s Finance Ltd v Ming Lam Holdings Ltd formerly known as Sino Haijing Holdings Ltd  [2020] HKCFI 2321 (as sole advocate): successfully obtained a winding up order against the respondent company, which was incorporated in the Cayman Islands and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

  • Chan Chun Chuen (陳振聰) v Kao, Lee & Yip (a firm)  [2019] HKCA 170 (led by Ms. Wing Kay Po): acted for the Respondent in resisting an application for leave to appeal to the Court of Appeal in relation to the Applicant’s striking out application.
